There’s something about wearing white coats in the colder months that make me feel alive. Maybe it has something to do with that so called “rule” about “no white after Labor Day” – a big HA to that!
More than ever these days, white coats and jackets are a thing. So yes, you may have to invest a little more in dry cleaning but I promise, it’s so worth it!
Go ahead and get in touch with your inner Olivia Pope and rock that white coat this winter! They don’t call it winter white for nothing.
I’m wearing the Double-Cloth Lady Day Coat from J. Crew. To be fair, it’s not exactly white, but I like the name even better…it’s called Vintage Champagne.
You can find it here, and with $200 off with the SHOPMORE code, you can’t be mad at that!
Here’s a similar one in ivory by Gap.
Here I’m wearing a white coat from Zara from last season with a zipper.
But you can get another cute option by Via Spiga from Bloomies has a zipper instead of buttons.
Find it here.
Now, let’s also talk about Block Heels that are back in this season. First of all, let me start by saying, “Thank you, little baby Jesus!!” I mean, I’m all for a mean, sexy little stiletto heel just like the next girl, but let’s keep it real. I am 100% feeling block heels which make it so much more bearable to spend an entire day in your heels. Ladies, do you feel me?
I know velvet is all the rave right now but you can never go wrong with a pair of suede boots. I like to stick with classic items rather than “trends.”
I’m wearing suede boots from & Other Stories (a unique woman’s clothing store in NYC which I’ve been completely obsessed with since the summer).
The ones I’m wearing are sold out but you can find similar ones on their site here.
These are lace up which is nice touch!
This version from Via Spiga is available at Nordstrom in a few different colors, and you can find them here.
The Steel color is my favorite, but they have black too.
You can snag a pair of suede block heel booties from Kendall + Kylie at Bloomingdale’s here. So chic.
Or check out the always reliable DSW for their selection of suede booties.
You can get this pair by Marc Fisher here for a sophisticated look that won’t break the bank.
Any color you get, you can’t go wrong with a block heel in suede.
So get your white coats and block heels ready and go brave that cold weather in style!
